I salute the Guru who is supreme bliss and the bestower of great joy, who is pure knowledge and beyond all dualities, who is like the limitless space, who is one eternal pure witness of all minds and who is beyond all attributes.
Salutations to the Guru who removes the darkness of our ignorance with his pure knowledge.
Guru is the creator, preserver and redeemer: therefore, we salute the Guru.
The basis of meditation is the Guru's form; the Guru's feet are fit to be worshipped. The Guru's words are gospel truth. The Guru's grace bestows liberation on us.
Salutations to Guru Siva who is the very embodiment of satcidananda - existence-knowledge-bliss absolute, who is free from worldliness, who is peace and radiant.
Salutations to Daksinamurti (Guru) who pervades all, though seeming to be divided as God, Guru and the Self.

May he protect us - the Guru and the disciple.
May we rejoice together.
May we generate spiritual energy together.
May our study be fruitful.
May there be no discord between us.
